Jest to kurs przeznaczony dla:

fizjoterapeutów, osteopatów, chiropraktyków, masażystów, nauczycieli różnych form ruchu np. joga, Pilates, Feldenkreis, instruktorów ruchowych i trenerów, lekarzy zajmujących się leczeniem narządu ruchu oraz studentów.

Tylna część ciała otrzymuje ogromną ilość przypadkowych oddziaływań. Mogą one zniekształcać relacje między kośćmi a także kształt kości w rejonie: kości krzyżowej, kości ogonowej, miednicy i kości udowej. Sharon przeprowadzi uczestników kursu po strukturach punktów orientacyjnych tego złożonego rejonu. Te punkty orientacyjne stanowią przewodnik pomagający odróżnić dobrą strukturę od uszkodzonej. Połączymy istotne metody z Integracji Strukturalnej jak i specjalistyczną prace na kościach (BoneWork) w celu naprawy uszkodzonych, zniekształconych kości w tym rejonie. Studenci będą wymieniać się w pracy między sobą oraz w pracy z modelami pod opieką instruktorki.

Sharon Wheeler – zanim została terapeutką Integracji Strukturalnej Sharon Wheeler była częścią personelu w Instytucie Esalen w Big Sur w Kalifornii, gdzie uczyła masażu przez kilka lat. Sharon była jedną z pierwszych studentów, a także jedną z niewielu kobiet, studiujących z dr Idą Rolf od 1970 do 1978. Sharon była jedną z „eksperymentów artystycznych” dr Rolf. Obecnie praktykuje w Waszyngtonie w pobliżu Seattle i prowadzi zajęcia specjalistyczne jak m.in. BoneWork, ScarWork, Pracy na Czaszce czy Pracy na Kości Krzyżowej.

The tail end of the body receives a generous number of accidental impacts. These impacts can distort the relationship between the bones and they also distort the shape of the bones in the region; the sacrum, coccyx, pelvis, and femur. Sharon will give a guided tour of structural landmarks through this complex region. These landmarks give you a guide to help evaluate good structure from damaged structure. Relevant Structural Integration work will be included as well as specialized BoneWork for the remediation of damaged, distorted bones throughout the region. Students will exchange sessions and we will have models for practice with supervision.

Sharon Wheeler - Prior to becoming a Rolfer®, Sharon Wheeler was a part of the staff at Esalen institute in Big Sur, California, where she taught Esalen Massage for several years. When Dr. Ida Rolf brought Rolfing to Esalen, Sharon became one of her early students, working with her from 1970 to 1979. Sharon also served on the Board of Directors of the Rolf Institute for several years. Currently, she practices in Washington, near Seattle, and travels to teach specialty classes on Bones, Scar Tissue, Cranial Rolfing, Sacrum and Coccyx Work, the Art of Rolfing. www.wheelerfascialwork.com
